Large Tutoring provides in-person tutoring across Metro Vancouver, Kelowna, Victoria, and parts of the Fraser-Valley. Each session is tailored to meet the unique needs of each one of our students, with a focus on getting students to understand the “why” of what they’re learning rather than just memorizing how to solve an equation.
Whether you prefer the atmosphere of your local coffee shop, a library, or the comfort of your own home, our tutors work with you wherever is most comfortable and conducive to your learning.

Tutoring Locations
Your safety, comfort, and learning are the most important factors when selecting a lesson location. That’s why we let you pick a location that is not just safe and comfortable, but also best suited for your learning!
For added safety, all of our tutors are required to go through Police Information and Background Checks. This is the same ‘vulnerable sector check’ that parent volunteers at high schools go through.

Yes! Even if you just need a few sessions to sharpen your skills for an upcoming exam, we’re more than happy to help any student who is serious about their academic goals.
Due to In-person lessons requiring longer breaks between lessons due to scheduling reasons, it’s recommended to reach out as soon as possible for extra in-person lessons.

At this moment, if you don’t see your city listed in our service areas, In-person services are unfortunately unavailable. However, we'd love to show you how connected our online services are. All of our tutors use webcams, and with their real-time handwritten notes, it feels like you're sitting right next to them. This way, you get an in-person experience from the comfort of your own space.

It's possible and we work diligently to provide this whenever asked! It does depend on your and your tutor's locations. Due to geographic limitations, switching from in-person to online services is usually easier than the reverse.
